Most of the work is now finished.
St Martin’s has improved disabled access to the west end.
The font is centrally placed in an enlarged space and a refreshment bar stands where the font used to be.
There is now an accessible toilet at the west end, plus a screened area for children and others to play during services.
Church House has been smartened up, with improved stepless access. The rooms for hire and the parish office are brighter and better laid out.
Fundraising continues.
The next target for improvement is the church's sound system.
